This company is a scam

No contact from the Dales Manager as of today.No credit issued to credit card as of today, they picked up the fridge two days ago.

Will not accept a return for a fridge, marked the fridge as is without me signing any agreement. Their policy says a 7 day satisfaction to the consumer, this is a lie.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Apology, discount on future orders and partial refund.

Online chat communication with Davis Alanen of Trail Appliances went very well. He responded promptly and stayed in touch with me over several hours to help me select a new washer and dryer. Removal of my old machines by Trail went well; installation did not. They said the power cord was too short. In (panicked) phone calls with Trail, I received completely contradictory answers. Would I have to send the machines back? I was able to hire an electrician to complete the installation. Trail Appliances refunded only a portion of the expense.

It’s a brand name and the brand speaks for itself looking at it from friends and family word of mouth. Even my neighbours recommended them. Call their customer service and you get prompt response.

We purchased a Whirlpool washer early May and it was delivered May 23. It doesnt work.

It squeals and thuds. We were told by the installer that the drum was defective and it needs to be replaced

A certified Whirlpool repairman was sent out early June. MSH which is for our area. Compared to the Trail installers this gentleman was rude and abrupt.

I will fi.

It but the part will take a long time. Not the words to hear when you have just spent a few thousand dollars on a new machine!

Last word Maybe July 22 for the parts to arrive

Siti the salesperson, once the sale was done he is not helpful

Entered our phone number wrong at the beginning which caused many problems S well as spelled our name wrong

I cant add the invoice because Siti emailed it to the wrong email

Promises to return calls end of day but never does

We have been told by several people that they never tested the machine before it left Trail or they would have heard that it wasnt working

Broken promises.Lack of customer service.

I bought a new fridge that could not be delivered because of Covid. They sold me a floor model that they promised was like new.

When we took it out of the box it had dents in each door. They said as we had signed off on it their was nothing they would do.My contractor complained and did not get anywhere. I took over and finally got someone to pay attention to me by going to head office and sitting in the lobby. Meanwhile the warranty was running down.

Only one of the doors ended up getting replaced and it does not match the other two doors.

The door is not flush with the others. Now my ice maker is broken and my temperature gage is set to one temperature. So much for like new. I bought my total appliance package from Trail but never again will I use this company.

My contractor no longer buys from them either.

Their customer service is so non existent that by the time they look at things your warranty is void. hey should have added the warranty time to the amount of months that they stonewalled us.

I bought a microwave 2.5 months ago and also purchased installation services. The installation went very wrong, the door was not opening, plus multiple oversized hole were made in the kitchen cupboard. I complained right away. They acknowledged that installation went very poorly, promised to do something about it. Nothing happened during 2 months despite my continuous calls and e-mails. Very poor services. Definitely recommend staying as far as possible from these guys.

A sales named Adam D'Eca had done a great job on following up with the purchase of a range that was out of stock due to warehouse miscommunication of the inventory stock level. Got I finally got in touch with whirlpool Toronto who acknowledged that trail did not have the authority to fix our problem but whirlpool does. The issued a full purchase price credit to trail on our behalf for us to return the defective stove and choose a new one. Sharon at trail was excellent, we chose a new stove ( not a Maytag) and we are very pleased with our selection. It did make us realize how the Maytag product had become so cheap in the quality of the range..

New stove does not work. Repair person has ordered 2 parts in January 2021 when the stove was delivered. We are still waiting for the parts to repair theNEW stove.

Whirlpool has since agreed to take back the stove and issue a credit to trail to apply the credit to anew stove. We now have a Samsung stove that so far has been great

Terrible Customer Service

Absolutely terrible service by Richard the salesman, Lucky the store manager &; Sampat from resolutions team. I bought appliance package for the whole house worth $40000.00 about a year ago.

Got most of the appliances delivered 2 1/2 months ago. Suppose to give me fridge and freezer panels and handle in the package. Didn't give me those either. Dacor freezer didn't come with all the necessary parts, so it doesn't make ice.

Bosch dishwasher didn't come with all the parts & power supplies. Fisher paykel dishwasher came damaged. My fault that it got installed like that. Now they don't want to get that sorted out.

Not even repair it, Eventhough they gave me 2 year warranty on all appliances.

No luck whatsoever after numerous emails and phone calls.

Now they don't even answer my phone calls, very disappointed. Would never recommend recommend Trail appliances

We received excellent customer service from Kelly Cook when shopping for a new dishwasher. She went over and above to see that we had the dishwasher we wanted.

There was not a dishwasher on hand when we were in, October 16, 2020, but she made a lot of phone calls hoping we could get one earlier. We so appreciate all that she did.

Company does not take responsibility for a big screw up

My husband and I had just purchased a brand new build and decided to go to the Trail appliances on Rupert Street, Vancouver BC. Bob Lee was the sales associate we dealt with and was helpful during the sales process but lack thereof after he made his sale and got his commission. The total came to $15,000 and we gave sufficient 2 months time for ordering and delivery. So, delivery was scheduled for 5 days before our move in date and when the appliances came we only got half of what we ordered; the most important, cooktop, oven and refrigerator was missing. The driver was just as confused as we were and told us that was all they had for us. Needless to say we were quite perturbed. We called Bob and he told us he'll see what happened and that he'll call us back right away. We waited anxiously and 2 hours later (all the while our installer was standing by for instructions)... he called to give us some kind of excuse as to why it's not there and fail to mention why he did not call to give us the heads up about everything being delayed. On top of that, Bob said they don't know when the fridge will arrive! At this point my husband and I were livid. This is inexcusable service and he lacked any responsibility to fix things. When we ask that Trail provided a temporary fridge to our family before the one we order arrives they said no they won't do that. So here we are left with no fridge for an indefinite amount of time... moving into the home in 2 days with 2 young children. We will never ever spend our money at Trail again and will warn everyone we know not to as the customer service and after care is simply appalling and for a big company is inexcusable.

Poor Customer service

I have never had such disappointing customer service. I purchased several appliances for a new home with Trail appliances, I am a single person living on my own, so the appliances definitely do not get over used.

Both my refrigerator and the clothes dryer have had problems. Trail informed me that in order to have someone come out they need to pre-bill me for both appliances, NOT the single visit. $90 for the first and $35 for the second appliance, time spent is over and above. The appointment was booked and pre-paid however not confirmed, I received no confirmation of the appointment.

I was called at 7am the morning of the appointment, unfortunately I was out of town.

Trail now requires a $50 no show fee, and it's another months wait. Based on this experience I would not recommend purchasing appliances with this company.
